You can reach the Facultad de Filología by SUBWAY. We strongly reccommend this option. You descend at “Ciudad Universitaria” (line 6). As you go out from the station, turn right and walk on the left hand side of the main road (Avda. Complutense) for about 6 minutes; you cross Profesor Aranguren and go straight. Turn right when you pass the second building on your right and the building B of the Facultad de Filología will be in front of you.

 

If you are located in Moncloa area, buses #132, #82 and “G” depart from the bus stop across the road opposite the main exit of Moncloa metro station (a 10 min. bus ride with light traffic). You leave the bus at the above mentioned crossing Avda. Complutense/Profesor Aranguren (stop “Paraninfo”). The same  point is reached by #132 and #82 from the north, very convenient if you are in Puerta de Hierro (#82), Saconia/Francos Rodríguez (#82, #132), or Barrio del Pilar  (#132).

 

If you are located in downtown Madrid, you can take the subway (reccommended) or bus #133 from San Bernardo/Gran Vïa (a 25-minute ride with light traffic, which we warn is quite unusual for Gran Vía St. and Princesa St.). If you take the bus, ask the driver to stop at “Filosofía-B”, or request the stop as soon as the bus leaves “Palacio de la Moncloa” stop. Beware the bus runs very fast here. The bus stop in front of “Filosofía-B” is called “Estadística” (they are connected to each other by an underpass); you descend here if you arrive from the north (Herrera Oria or Barrio del Pilar) with #133 or #83; you must request stop as soon as the bus leaves the stop “Veterinaria”, or ask the driver to stop at “Estadística” as you board the bus.

 

If you are located west to the University, you can either take the metro line 6 (at “Cuatro Caminos” or “Guzman el Bueno” stations,) or bus “F”, which departs every 15 minutes from Cuatro Caminos Sqr. You get off the bus at “Paraninfo-Filología” stop (a 15-min. ride with light traffic); the building B of the Facultad de Filología is on the left.

No matter where you are located, we strongly recommend the subway+walk option, particularly at rush-hour (7.30am-10am and 1pm-2.30pm); otherwise, you will get stuck in traffic on Avda. Complutense (#132, #82, “G”), Reina Victoria-Ramiro de Maeztu (“F”) or Gran Vía/Princesa (#133).
